nanotechnology at vit university

VIT is one of the first Institutes in the Country which started an M.Tech. Nanotechnology course with specific emphasis to Nano-Electronics, Nano-Photonics, Nano-Lithography, MEMS and NEMS and Bio-Electronics applications. These areas have far reaching implications for the emerging developments globally as all research, design and applications are being steered in these areas.

FACILITIES IN THE LAB

Our students are exposed to the frontiers of instrumentation used for characterization, design and fabrication using some of the advanced Nanoscale characterization tools such as AFM, STM and SPM techniques, high-resolution Optical Microscopy and Electrochemical characterization, which are available at V.I.T.
